Sweet Onion, Cucumber, and Tender Pork Marinade Sweet Onion, Cucumber, and Tender Pork Marinade
I had one sweet onion left over in the fridge. Sliced onion was too run of the mill, and I wanted to make a main dish rather than a side dish.Taste at step 5 when you mix everything together! Adjust the sourness, sweetness, and saltiness to your taste. If you add chopped tomato or red peppers, it will become a colorful dish. Recipe by Yakochin cookpad.japan -
Sweet Onion Marinade Sweet Onion Marinade
Sweet onions are now in season.I was given quite a bit of them, so I'm trying them out in various recipes.Once you've added the flavoring ingredients, thoroughly work in the ingredients with your hands.I do this by using a plastic bag as a glove and mixing them by hand. If you don't have any cumin, use extra curry powder instead. Adjust the sweetness to your liking. I prefer a tart flavor, so I use 1 tablespoon. Recipe by kazz72 cookpad.japan -
Dried Shimeji Mushroom & Sweet Onion Garlic Marinade Dried Shimeji Mushroom & Sweet Onion Garlic Marinade
My family likes highly nutritious and delicious dried vegetable dishes.Fresh shimeji mushrooms are fine to use too, but they have quite a bit of moisture so you have to cook them well before marinating them. Use lemons that you can use the skins! If you don't have those lemons, you can use lemon juice. If you marinate the lemon for too long it will become bitter, so p be careful. Teriyaki Glaze/ Marinade and Finishing Sauce Teriyaki Glaze/ Marinade and Finishing Sauce
I originally used this sauce a marinade for steak and chicken skewers that I grilled. They make such delicious appetizers! From there we tried shrimp, pork and fish fillets, all were excellent! Fresh vegetables are equally as good. My latest use was using it as a finishing sauce for sous vides final browning, it was great for that as well. fenway -
