Ingredients

30 minutes
3 servings
  • 2fish head part
  • 1.5 cupbasmati rice
  • 1onion chopped
  • 1 tspginger garlic paste
  • 1 tspcumin powder
  • 1 tspgaram masala powder
  • 1 tspred chilli Powder
  • 1 tspcumin seed
  • 1bay leaf
  • 1red chilli whole
  • To tastesalt and sugar
  • As neededoil and ghee

Steps

30 minutes
  1. 1

    Heat oil and deep fry the fish head marinated with salt and turmeric powder

  2. 2

    Keep aside the fish head and temper Cumin seeds,bay leaf and red chilli

  3. 3

    Add onion chopped and saute till it becomes golden

  4. 4

    Add ginger garlic paste chilli powder and Cumin powder

  5. 5

    Add the rice and saute

  6. 6

    Now add the fish head mix well

  7. 7

    Pour water and cover till rice and the fish head become soft

  8. 8

    Finally add sugar,garam masala and ghee

  9. 9

    Serve it hot
