Ingredients

40 minutes
  1. 1 cupwhole wheat flour
  2. 1/4 cuprava
  3. 1/4 tspbaking soda
  4. 1/2 tspcarom seeds
  5. 1 tspghee
  6. to tasteSalt
  7. as neededWater
  8. 4 tspmelted ghee to dip bati

Steps

40 minutes
  1. 1

    Mix wheat flour, rava,baking powder,1 tsp ghee, carom seeds and salt well.

  2. 2

    Add water and bind the stiff dough. It should be stiffer than chapati dough.cover it and rest it for 10 minutes.

  3. 3

    Divide the dough into 10 equal parts and make round balls.make cross on it with the help of knife(it will look like cracks) roll again and gently press and flattened into a thick patty. repeat the same

  4. 4

    Arrange all bati on high rack

  5. 5

    Place the rack in microwave on grill mode for 12 minutes.after 12 minutes flip all the bati up side down and Cook other side for 12 minutes

  6. 6

    Place all the bati in a plate and apply ghee on bati using brush or each bati can be dipped in melted ghee

  7. 7

    Bati is ready to serve with dal of your taste
