Ingredients

  1. 1big purple brinjal
  2. 3/4 tspSalt
  3. 1/4 tspTurmeric
  4. 1/2 tspGaram masala
  5. 1/2 tspRed chilli Kashmiri powder
  6. 1/2 cupgram flour
  7. For batter gram flour
  8. as neededWater for thick consistency
  9. 1/4 tspSalt
  10. 1/4 tspRed chilli
  11. 1/4 tspCarom seed
  12. 1/4 tspturmeric powder
  13. 1/4 tspgaram masala
  14. Pinchbaking soda
  15. as neededOil for frying

Steps

  1. 1

    Cut brinjal into flat and length vise

  2. 2

    Marinate with salt pepper turmeric garam masala and keep it for 15 minutes

  3. 3

    Now make a thick batter of gram flour and spices and baking soda

  4. 4

    Now heat the oil in a deep wok dip brinjal one by one coating nicely with batter and deep fry in a med hot oil at a time 4-5 slices will be fry

  5. 5

    Make all the pakodas and spread on a tissue kitchen napkin to absorb the excess oil

  6. 6

    Now ready for plating and serve with tomato chilli sauce or sweet tamarind chutney

  7. 7

    Enjoy in barish ka mausam or this happy monsoon
