Just plain rice.. But added some sautéed carrots to make it nicer and more appealing.

Just plain rice.. But added some sautéed carrots to make it nicer and more appealing.
Steps

Wash the carrots thoroughly and chop them into tiny little squares.

Put the oil in a saucepan and sauté the carrots till it turns a golden colour

Add the rice and water to it.
- 4
Add the salt for taste.
- 5
Cover with a lid and leave to boil for 20- 30 mins.( depends on the quantity of ingredients).
You could also use a rice cooker instead of a sauce pan. - 6
Serve with any gravy of your choice.
