1 1/2 bagscarrots, peeled and cut into fours
2onions, cut into four
1tomato, cut into four
1/2 bagcelery, cut into fours
1potato, cut into four
1 tbsshredded ginger
2 clovesgarlic, cut into fours
3/4 sticksalted butter
3/4 cuppastina

Steps

bring broth to boil, and add all ingredients, reduce heat, let simmer- covered.

I usually let mine simmer all day, but it should be fine as soon as 2 hours.

use a food mill, to sieve through you vegetable fibers.

boil pastina in soup for 8-10 minutes.
