I have tried to make it a healthier version using whole wheat flour and oats. I have also used brown sugar.

I have tried to make it a healthier version using whole wheat flour and oats. I have also used brown sugar.
Steps

Peel the apples and cut apples in small chunks and add sugar and cinnamon to it. Transfer in an ovenproof dish and leave aside.
In a bowl mix the whole wheat flour and oats. Add butter to the mix and rub the butter until it resembles even texture.
Now add the sugar and cinnamon and mix through. Transfer the mix on top of the apple and cover with crumble mixture. Press it firmly and with a fork make indents. In a preheated oven bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown at 180 degrees. - 2
