Soak rice and dal for 1/2 an hour.pressure cook it for ten minutes on slow heat with 2 cup water.
Mash it with masher - 2
Add milk to it and mix well. put it on slow heat and boil it for 2 minutes.add jaggery to it and boil for 1mniute. here i used sugar as jaggery is not available. after that add grinding coconut and cardamon. boil for 2 minutes

. add pinch of yellow colour. switchoff the stove

Heat ghee in a pan and fry cashew nut.
