Ingredients

2 serving
  • 500 gmBrinjal (slices)
  • 1 cupOnion slices
  • 1 tbspGinger garlic paste
  • 1/2 cupChopped tomato
  • 4-5 piecesGrern chilli slit
  • 2 tbspYogurt
  • 3 tbspOil
  • to tasteSalt
  • 1 tspTermeric powder
  • 1 tspRed chilli powder
  • 1 tspCumin powder
  • 1 tspCoriander powder
  • 1 tspGaram masala powder
  • 1/2 tspCumin seeds
  • 2-3 piecesRed chilli whole
  • 2 cardamom
  • 3 cinnamon
  • 3 cloves
  • 2bay leaves
  • 2red chilli whole

Steps

15-20 min
  1. 1

    Heat oil in a pan add cumin seeds,red chilli whole and all spices and satue till the fragrent.

  2. 2

    Add onion and satue. Add ginger garlic paste and saute.

  3. 3

    Add salt and all the masala and satue. Then add brinjal and mix it.

  4. 4

    Cover and cook 6-7 min till the brinjal are cooked then add yogurt and little bit water.

  5. 5

    Cover and cook again for 4-5 min and add green chilis and serve hot.
