Wash pumpkin thoroughly and cut into small pieces.

Soak chana dal for at least one hour.

Wash and peel raw mango and cut it lengthwise.

Now heat a wok. Once heated put oil. Add cumin seeds, mustard seeds, fenugreek seeds and asfoateida. Now put diced pumpkin, chana dal and raw mango and mix it well.

After frying for 5 minutes add all the spices and green chilli and mix well.

Add salt as per your taste. Now cover the wok and cook till pumpkin and chana dal comes soft.

As pumpkin leaves it's own juices so there is no need of adding water. But if needed pour some water.

When pumpkin and dal become soft turn off the flame. Garnish with green coriander.

Serve this sabji hot with poori paratha.
