Ingredients

20 minutes
3-4 servings
  1. 1 cupboiled and mashed sweet potatoes
  2. 2 tbspoil
  3. 1onion(chopped)
  4. 1/2capsicum (chopped)
  5. 1/2carrot (chopped)
  6. 1 tspginger garlic paste
  7. 2green chillies (chopped)
  8. 1 tspred chilli
  9. 1/2 tspgaram masala
  10. 1/2 tspcoriander powder
  11. 1/2 tspchaat masala
  12. Salt (according to taste)
  13. 1/2 cupbread crumbs
  14. leavesCoriander
  15. For batter:
  16. 2 tbspall purpose flour
  17. 2 tbspcorn flour
  18. to tasteSalt
  19. as neededOil (for frying)
  20. 1/2 cupBread crumbs (for covering)
  21. as neededIce cream sticks

Steps

20 minutes
  1. 1

    In a pan heat oil, add onion and sauté it. Then add green chilli, ginger garlic paste,capsicum, carrot and cook it for 2 -3 minutes or till it turns little dry.

    Add sweet potatoes and all spices and masala, mix it well.

  3. 3

    Add breadcrumbs and coriander leaves and mix it.

  4. 4

    Take some masala and put it on ice cream sticks to make shape of lolipop.

  5. 5

    Add all-purpose flour, cornflour,salt and little water to make smooth batter.

  6. 6

    Deep all lolipops in this batter and cover it with breadcrumbs.

  7. 7

    Keep this lollipops in refrigerator for 1 hour.

  8. 8

    Deep fry the lolipops in hot oil till it turns in golden colour on medium high flame.

  9. 9

    Serve it hot with tomato sauce or green chutney or tamarind chutney.
