2onion chopped
1 tbspginger garlic paste
1 tspcumin powder
1 tbspcoriander powder
1 tspcumin seeds
1bay leaf
1 tspchana masala
1/2 tspturmeric powder
1 tspred chilli powder
1/4 tspasafoetida
To tastesalt and sugar
As neededoil

Boil the chana adding salt and turmeric powder

Heat oil and temper cumin seeds and bay leaf

Add onion and saute well adding salt and turmeric powder
4

Add ginger garlic paste and all the masalas saute well
5

Add boiled chana and mix sugar and chana masala
6

Serve it with naan or chapati
