Kadhi Pakoda punjabi style

Take a big bowl. Mix gram flour, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, chopped green chillies, chopped onion, crushed fenugreek leaves, baking soda and salt. Add water and mix well to make a batter with pouring consistency. Heat oil in a frying pan on high flame. Fry the pakodas till light golden brown on low to medium flame.

Take a big bowl, add curd, gram flour, red chilli powder, turmeric powder and salt. Add water little by little and mix till all lumps are gone. Keep aside.

Heat 2 tbsp oil in a pan on a low flame. Add mustard seeds and cumin seeds. Once they start cracking add ginger - garlic paste, curry leaves, green chillies, red chillies, turmeric powder, red chilli powder and asafoetida. Add the kadi mixture and bring it to a boil.

Lower the flame and continue to boil for 15 to 20 minutes. Add pakodas and boil for 5 more minutes. Keep the consistency of Kadhi as per your requirement.

It become thicker if kept for hours but then it's taste enhances 😋

Kadhi pakoda is ready. Enjoy with chapatis or rice.
