Enjoy typical PunjabI Halwa in this Rainy season .Also festive season is going to approach soon, so this is the best,easy and quick Sweet one can make any time and on any occasion .

Take a vessel, add water along with sugar and let boil. After 1-2 boils switch off the flame.Sugar syrup is ready.

Take another Clean Kadhai/Pan.

Add DESI GHEE and let it melt a bit.

Now add wheat flour to it.

Keep on roasting flour in ghee on medium flame till it changes its colour to brown. Keep on stirring while roasting otherwise it may get burnt.

Now after this colour change add sugar syrup to it and keep on stirring so that no lumps are formed. After 2-3 minutes Halwa will start leaving walls of Kadhai/ pan and it's the sign that it's ready.

Garnish it with cashews or any nuts of your choice.you can enjoy it alone or with poori.
