Ingredients

  1. 5 cupscorn kernels
  2. 2green chiles (use 1 poblano and 1 Anaheim) roasted
  3. 1/2 stickbutter (45 g)
  4. 1chicken bouillon cube
  5. 1tomato
  6. 1/2onion
  7. 1small garlic clove, finely chopped
  8. 1tomato 🍅
  9. 1 tablespoontomato puree (optional)
  10. 1/2 cuphalf-and-half (or cream to taste)
  11. 1 sprigcilantro
  12. Cheese to taste (use aged cheese)
  13. 1 1/2 literswater (use freshly boiled)
  14. Salt and pepper to taste

Cooking Instructions

    Melt the butter over low heat to prevent burning, add the onion and garlic, and sauté for about 2 minutes. Then add the corn, stirring occasionally, for about 5 minutes. At this point, add the chopped tomato.
