Kindly check out my previous recipes on orange and vanilla cake.put the cake in the fridge for 2 hours to make them easier to work with

Level out the cake and cut them into two layers each

Take two bowls of different sizes to use as a guide to cut into the cake twice.run your knife round the edges of the bowls cutting it do this for all the cakes

They should all look like this when you separate them

Apply whip cream on the inner part of all of them to act as glue to stick them together

Assemble the cakes alternating the colours

Add cream on a board

Place the first layer

Apply whip cream on the layer sparingly

Add the second layer if you started with vanilla outer most layer this should be orange make sure you are alternating on every layer

Apply crumb coat on the final cake

Put it in the fridge for 10 minutes.in the mean time boil some water and put it in a jug

Remove your cake and dip your offset spatula in the hot water wipe off the water and use it to smoothen the cake

Put a border with a different colour at the top and bottom and decorate as desired
