Heat oil and temper cumin seed bay leaf and green chillies

Add Potatoes and saute well

Add salt and turmeric powder and cover till it is golden brown

Now add the powder masalas saute well adding the cabbage

Cover it and keep stiring occasionally

As the masala starts releasing oil add tomato and saute well till it become soft

Finally add sugar and garam masala powder

Serve it with rice or chapati
