Ingredients

  • 500 gmChicken pieces
  • 5 thin slicedOnion
  • 1 tspGinger paste
  • 1 tbspGarlic paste
  • 2 tbspCurd
  • to tasteSalt
  • 1/2 tspTurmeric powder
  • 1 tbspChicken curry powder
  • 1 tspHomemade garam masala
  • 2 tbspOil
  • 1 tbsp-optionalButter
  • 1/2 tsp optionalKasoori methi
  • For Tadka
  • 3_4whole red chilli
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 5_6black pepper
  • 1 inch dalchini
  • 2green cardmom
  • 1black cardmom
  • Water as required

Steps

  1. 1

    Wash throughly chicken pieces.then marinate with curd, little bit salt 1/2 tsp Ginger paste1 tsp,1 tbspn garlic paste little bit turmeric powder and kasoori methi1 1/2 tsp garam masala.keep it in side.

  2. 2

    Put pressure cooker on gas stove,add oil and butter.warm the oil properly. Now at this stage add tadka.put all the sliced onion.

  3. 3

    When onion turns to Golden add Ginger, garlic paste stir for 2 min. Add all dry ingredients and 2 tbspn water mix well.cook for 1whistle.let it cool open the lid and add marinated chicken cook for 5 min on high flame and add water according to your requirement.cook for 3 whistle and it is ready now.
