This is a usaual malai chumchum..but i have used some caramel to add some more colour and flavour to it...

This is a usaual malai chumchum..but i have used some caramel to add some more colour and flavour to it...
Steps

Knead the chena with maida and sugar well till smooth and greasy..cut small portions and make chumchum of desired shape..

Heat water in a pan..add the sugar to make shira...when the sugar dissolves and come to a boil add the chumchums..cover and cook for 15 mins in a medium to low flame..

To make the caramel..heat pan add sugar and water and cook till it's brown and the caramel is ready..

After 15 mins of boil add the caramel in the sugar syrup and again cover and boil the chumchums for another 10-15 mins till the colour of the chumchums changes to brown and a sweet caramel flavour comes...

In the meantime to prepare the malai heat pan..add the milk and the powdered milk and sugar and boil till it becomes thik creamy and the malai is ready..

Now take out the chumchums in a serving dish..pour the malai on top and garnish it with some chopped badam...
