Very tasty and sweet recipe
Steps

Firstly peel off the skin of the gourd and sweet potato. Then finely chop the gourd. Cut the sweet potato into dice.

In the kadai heat oil and fry the bori and keep them aside. Then add bay leaves, wild celery seeds, fenugreek seeds and fennel seeds. Then add the chopped gourd and saute well.

Add turmeric powder and salt and mix them very well. Now cover with the lid and cook for 10 minutes. The flame should be medium during cooking.

After 10 minutes open the lid and check the gourd is soft or not. If not cover and cook until the gourd is soft. When the gourd is getting soft add the diced sweet potatoes and mix them very well.

Now again cover and cook until the potatoes are soft. When the potatoes are soft open the lid and cook until all water will be dried. Add fried bori and ginger paste and mix them well. Add sugar and mix very well. When it is getting dried switch off the flame and serve it with hot steamed rice.
