Heat the 400 ml milk on simmer, keep stirring, when it starts boiling add grated paneer.

In a separate bowl mix remaining milk and custard powder.

Add this custard mixture to the milk and paneer and keep stirring.

Cook for another 5 mins and when it starts to get thicker add sugar and vanilla essence. Cook and stir for another 2-3 mins.

Grease a plate or big bowl, pour the prepares mixture in it, try to flatten it and sprinkle dry fruits over it, keep it in refrigerator for 2 hrs. Cut in desired shape.

Delicious Paneer Custard Kalakand is ready to serve.
