Earthy simple food Jowar roti and urad daal served with green chutney and chopped garlic cooked in ghee.
Steps

Wash urad daal and boil it until cooked.

In a pan add oil, cumin and mustard seeds. Once splutters add asafoetida and garlic chilli paste. Saute for a minute and add salt turmeric and coriander cumin powder.

Add boiled daal and one cup of water. Cook it for 3-4 minutes. Daal is ready to serve.

In a bowl take jowar flour, add water and knead dough. Make roti and cook it nicely on both sides. Cooked in earthen griddle which tastes awesome.

Chop garlic into small pieces, add 1 tbsp ghee and pinch of salt. Cook until rawness is gone.
