Chicken Soup

I like to make a lot of broth and save the shredded chicken for other meals. I also keep the chicken broth to use later for soups.
Chicken Soup
I like to make a lot of broth and save the shredded chicken for other meals. I also keep the chicken broth to use later for soups.
Steps
- 1
First, remove the skin and as much fat as possible from the chicken breasts, and place them in a pot with the 12 3/4 cups (3 liters) of water.
- 2
Wash, peel, and cut the vegetables into 3 or 4 pieces each.
- 3
Add the vegetables to the pot with the chicken, along with the garlic, oregano, pepper, and salt.
- 4
Cover the pot and cook for 2 hours. Once the broth is ready, serve. I like to add lime and cayenne pepper.
