Rinse the chana dal very well with water

In cooker,cook chana dal with 5_6whistels

Once dal cooked,strain the dal

Heat the pan add ghee.

Add dal and jaggery

Saute dal till it becomes thick mixture.

Add saunth powder,cardamom powder,nutmeg powder.

Keep on stirring the puran mixture at interval.

Once mixture become dry and thick swictch off the flame.

For preparing poli dough

In bowl add wheat flour all purpose floure add salt and oil.

Add littel bit of water.knead a dough.

The dough should be soft.

Making puran poli

Take a medium size ball from dough.

Roll it 2 _3inches circumference on diusted rollling board.

Place a mixture pf puran pn the centre of the dough.

Bring edges together towards the centre.

Join all edges and pinch them.

Sprinkle some floure and roll them

Make a medium large circle.poli

On heated tava spred some ghee.

Place rolled poli on the tava.

When one side is browned turn over and cook from othet side till brown coloured.

Apply ghee on it. Make all polis in this way.

Serve hot with amti.
