My boy wasn't feeling well so I thought of making him some porridge. I thought dried scallops would make the porridge nutritious and tasty. Since conpoy is rich with umami flavor, I didn't add any salt in this recipe.

Ingredients

2-3 hours
2-3 servings
  • 1/2 cuprice
  • 3 cupwater
  • 2-3 tbspdried scallops (conpoy), steeped in water for about 15 minutes
  • 1 pinchsugar
  • Scallions for topping

Steps

2-3 hours
  1. 1

    Mix all ingredients in your slow cooker.

  2. 2

    Cook HIGH for 2-3 hours or LOW for 6 hours.

  3. 3

    Mix before serving. Serve with chopped scallion.
