Beef carrot stew

On this particular day we were to have ndengu(green grams) for dinner. When i was boiling them, they got burnt badly, there was nothing i could to rescue some of them... I had to think of a substitute fast because it was almost dinner time. I decided on beef carrot stew. It was delicious.

In a pot put the meat and 2½cups of water... The reason i am boiling is because i need to get the broth which i will use when frying

When it boils, drain the meat and set aside the broth.

Return the pot with meat on fire and add the onions and alittle oil.

Fry until they brown. Add the ginger and garlic. Keep turning for 1 min. Add the potaotes, carrots and the green peas and mix.

Add the tomatoes, hoho, rosemary and mixed spices and cover. Let it cook until the tomatoes are soft.

Add the tomato paste and soy sauce. Add the broth and cover.

When cooked. Remove from the heat and add the corriander.

Serve with your favorite dish
