Take chicken pieces in a bowl, add lemon juice, salt, ginger garlic paste and chilli powder,turmeric & mix well. Set aside for 20mins

To make achari masala powder, dry roast the ingredients given below achari masala except black salt. After cooling add all items in mixer grinder add black salt and make a coarse powder

Take hung curd in a bowl, add 1 tbsp mustard oil, achari masala powder, orange red colour & whisk well

Add marinated chicken pieces to this and mix well

Refrigerate to marinate for 1-2 hrs

Heat some butter & oil in grill pan. Add chicken pcs & fry on both the sides well till done.

Lastly give smokey flavour to tikkas

Sprinkle chat masala on top

Garnish with mint sprig & serve hot with onion rings

Note : be careful not to burn achari masala

To add smokey flavour to tikkas, heat one charcoal on gas, transfer chicken pieces in a bowl, place small steel bowl in the middle of chicken, add hot charcoal in small bowl thn keep 2 cloves (lavang) on top of charcoal and add little butter

Close the lid fr 10mins

U can use ready made achari masala powder also
