Cooking Instructions

In a large pot fill half way with water

Add your two chicken thighs whole with the bouillon cubes, lemon pepper, salt, black pepper, and dash of hot sauce

Boil carrots and potatoes until tender
- 4
Once chicken boiled and cooled slightly, preheat oven to 400 degrees

Shred chicken and combine vegetables with chicken and cream of chicken coup

Fill pie crust and apply second crust to top and pinch sides to seal

make slits to top of pie and brush with butter

Bake until golden brown and enjoy!

This is my sons favorite meal. Traditionally, pot pie has peas as one of its veggies, but my kids and husband aren't fond of peas, so we substitute 1 cup of small broccoli florets instead. Save time by using rotisserie chicken and frozen pie crust. They will still love you. You can add any vegetables you like I had leftover garden green beans and corn and no peas and used those scaling back on my other vegetables. cindybear -

I'the been looking around for new recipes to try and came across several for chicken pot pies, many of which required things like condensed soup and so forth which I didn't have on hand, so I improvised one.
