Mix sugar and prestige margarine together using a mixer.

Pre heat the oven, then mix all the dry ingredients

Mix the rest of the ingredients, then add the liquid ingredients and the dry ingredients into the sugar mix at intervals.

Pour the batter onto a greased &dusted baking tray and put it in the oven.

Test if ready by using a skewer or serrated knife, and if it comes out clean, the cake is ready.

Make icing of your choice (while cake is cooling). I made royal icing with caramel as the colouring.
