Steps

Wash and soak the daal and seeds

Boil it well with salt and turmeric powder

Now heat oil and butter, temper Fenugreek seeds and red chilli

Add onion chopped and saute well

Add ginger garlic paste and saute well

Add tomato and red chilli Powder

Add cumin coriander powder and mix

In another pan simmer the boiled daal with milk

Now as the masala starts releasing oil add the daal and mix well

Add sugar and mix well

Garnish with butter and serve with plain chapati or paratha
