Ingredients

20 minutes
2 serves
  • 2Nile perch fish
  • 2medium sized onions
  • 3medium sized tomatoes
  • 1small capsicum, green in colour
  • Cooking oil
  • 1/2 cupwater
  • Ginger and garlic
  • leavesCoriander
  • 1 pinchsalt

Steps

20 minutes
  1. 1

    Cut the tomatoes and capsicum together in one plate.Cut the onions separately in another plate.Put ginger and garlic in a mortar and hit till fine. Also cut coriander leaves in a separate plate.

    To the cooking pan add a little oil and allow it to cook for a minute then add the onions. Allow it to cook till brown,add mixture of ginger and garlic. Then you add the mixture of tomatoes and capsicum.Add a pinch salt then stir.

    Cover the pan and allow the mixture to cook for 2 minutes. Then add water and stir as it cooks and then add coriander leaves. Wait for some time then add the already fried Nile perch.Cover the pan to let it cook for some time before turning other sides of the fish.

    Serve while hot with ugali and skuma wiki.
