Ingredients

  • 1/2 kgBottlegourd (grated)
  • 200 gramsGaram flour approx
  • 10-12Cashew nuts
  • 10-12Raisins
  • 1/2 tspGaram Masala powder
  • 1/2 tspCoriander powder
  • 1/2 tspDeghi mirch
  • 1/2 tspCumin powder
  • 1 pinchHing/asafoetida
  • to tasteSalt
  • For fryingOil
  • For jeera rice
  • 1 bowlRice
  • As requiredOil
  • To taste Salt
  • 1 tspJeera

Steps

  1. 1

    First of all take a bowl.Put grated bottlegourd add besan mix well as it is without water

  2. 2

    Add jeera powder, hing, salt and make balls.Put 1 kaju in each ball and bind it nicely.

  3. 3

    Deep fry take another pan for making gravy..Put 2 tbsp oil put hing,jeera,onion,tomato paste add all ingredients into the oil and saute.

  4. 4

    Fry well.Put some raisin to adjust the flavour add water and let it boil add kofta and let it cook.

  5. 5

    For jeera rice Take a pot put rice into it add jeera, ghee,salt,water

  6. 6

    Take 2 boils switch off flame and cover it for 5 minutes.Serve jeera rice with bottlegourd kaju curry
