Ingredients

  • 1medium onion sliced
  • 1tomato peeled and chopped
  • 2 clovegarlic chopped
  • 7potatoes cut into chips
  • 1 teaspoontomato paste
  • 1/4 teaspoontumeric powder
  • 2green chilies chopped or crushed
  • Vinegar/lemon juice

    Prepare onions, tomatoes chillies, garlic and Dania.

    Fry the chips in one pan. In another pan prepare the tomato base for the masala by fry the onions, chillies and garlic.

    After fee minutes add the tomatoes and simmer till soft. Then add the tomato paste. And a little water if its too thick.

    Mix the tomato base well. Add tumeric, vinegar/lemon (to taste). Fry the chips till slightly dry to be able to mix well without getting smashed. Add these to the tomato base and mix all together on very slow fire.

    Once all is mixed. Turn off heat and garnish with chopped Dania.

    Serve hot. I like mine with a side of sausage and mayonnaise.
