Poha (Beaten rice) is one of the ideal options to have as a healthy wholesome meal. It's rich in carbohydrates, iron, fiber, and vital nutrients. It is almost gluten-free. It contributes to a healthy weightloss. This version of poha that I have made is a coriander-mint version, unlike the traditional one. It's a no onion no garlic recipe. It can be done under 15 mins.

Steps

Wash and soak Poha for 10 minutes. If it's thin poha, sprinkle water and in other case, poha should be immersed in water and drained later.

Grind coriander leaves, mint leaves, chilli, salt, coconut, jaggery, turmeric, lemon juice and some water into a fine paste.

In a pan, add water to boil peas and salt along with it. Once the peas is boiled (approximately 5-7 minutes) add the ground paste and check for salt and let it cook for about 5 minutes until the raw smell of the ingredients goes off.

Add the drained poha and mix it well. Spoon in a little dollop of butter or ghee. Mix and Serve hot.
