Ingredients

3 servings
  • 2 bowlsOvernight soaked chana
  • 1Onion
  • 4 tspDry coconut grated
  • 1 tspGinger garlic paste
  • 1/2 tsp eachMustard,cumin seeds
  • HandfulCoriander leaves
  • 1tsp Red Chilli powder
  • 1 tspGaram masala
  • 1 tspChana masala
  • To tasteSalt
  • 1 tspTurmeric powder
  • 4-5 tspOil

Steps

  1. 1

    Wash soaked chana and cook it in pressure cooker for 3 or 4 whistles

  2. 2

    Roast cut onion,grated coconut and make paste with coriander

  3. 3

    Heat oil add mustard and cumin seeds,let it flutter,now add garlic ginger paste and saute for a minute

  4. 4

    Now low the flame and add red chilli powder, turmeric powder,garam masala,chana masala,salt mix well

  5. 5

    Now add 1 tsp water and add the onion,coconut paste saute it till it leaves the oil

  6. 6

    Now add the cooked chana mix well.Cover it with lid and cook for 5 minutes.

  7. 7

    Now add water to adjust desired consistency

  8. 8

    Let it boil and serve hot
