First time I was trying this with my pakistani sis in law.I've always loved bought ones but homemade is more fresh n sweet.

SYRUP:In a pan,add sugar,water and cardamon pods,bring to a boil until sugar is dissolved.set aside.

GULABJAMUN:Mix powdered milk,flour n baking soda.Add butter,then milk to make a soft n sticky dough.

Let it sit for 10min.Grease ur palms with butter and knid.

Roll the dough into small balls and fry the gulab jamuns on medium heat.

Keep turning until evenly dark browned.After it cools place in hot sugar syrup,let it sit for 20 min or so.

Serve with sliced cashews n almonds.Enjoy.
