Ingredients

  • 3-4medium sized dry fish
  • 1 tspDaddawa (locust beans powderd) its completely optional
  • Onion grated
  • Red bell pepper grated
  • Scotch bonnet grated
  • Garlic grated
  • Oil
  • Salt
  • Maggi (i use naija pot)
  • 2Chopped onion

Steps

  1. 1

    Wash dry fish, put into the pot with salt and bring to a boil

  2. 2

    Drain and set aside.

  3. 3

    Heat oil in a pot add all the grated vegetables and fry.

  4. 4

    Add salt, maggi, and daddawa to taste.

  5. 5

    Add about 1 cup water and bring to a boil.

  6. 6

    Add the fish, adjust taste and water if too little.

  7. 7

    Cover and allow to cook

  8. 8

    When it start to thickens a little,reduce heat and allow to simmer

  9. 9

    When done remove and serve

  10. 10

    It can be served with bread, or rice
