Ingredients

  1. 1 2/3 poundssliced beef steak (about 750 grams)
  2. 1/2 poundchopped bacon (about 250 grams)
  3. 4jalapeño peppers
  4. 1/2white onion
  5. 1small bunch cilantro
  6. 1 clovegarlic
  7. Salt, to taste
  8. 4large tomatillos

Steps

  1. 1

    Fry the beef over low heat in the pot you’ll use for the dish.

  2. 2

    In a separate pan, cook the bacon until it’s lightly browned.

  3. 3

    Meanwhile, blend the onion, garlic, salt, and jalapeños with plenty of water.

  4. 4

    Once the bacon is lightly browned, add it to the cooked beef. Do not let the beef brown.

  5. 5

    Add the blended mixture to the pot with the beef and bacon, and let it cook through.

  6. 6

    Once everything is cooked, serve. You can top each bowl with chopped onion and a little cilantro.
