Steps

Make batter by adding gram flour, salt, curd/baking soda, 2 tsp oil and required water. Make thick batter. Keep aside for 15 minutes.

Now take two bread slices. Apply tomato sauce and green chutney on both slices.

Put potato mixture on one bread slice. Cover with another slice. Now cut from center.

Heat oil in a kadhai. Once oil heated dip bread sandwich in gram flour batter. Coat all sides. Slide carefully in hot oil. Deep fry sandwich on medium heat till golden.

Serve hot with tomato sauce or green chutney.
