Ingredients

  1. 1 kgsarso saag leaves
  2. 1/2 kgspinach leaves
  3. 2 tspginger finely chopped
  4. 2green chilli finely chopped
  5. 3onion finely chopped
  6. As neededghee / oil
  7. As neededbutter
  8. 2finely chopped tomato
  9. As per tasteAll regular spices
  10. 2 tbspmaize flour

Steps

  1. 1

    Cut and washed the leaves of sarso saag and spinach.

  2. 2

    Put it in cooker with maize flour and little water and salt and green chillies

  3. 3

    Cover the lid and cook it for 4 to 5 whistles.

  4. 4

    Let it cool and then put it into mixer jar and blend it for 2 minutes.

  5. 5

    Now heat ghee in a pan add ginger, garlic saute it, add onion and tomato sauce and then all regular spices.

  6. 6

    Add grinded saag and mix well.

  7. 7

    Serve with butter and chapati or makke ki roti.
