Ingredients

  • 1 GallonFresh Water (if you don't drink your tap water don't use it for this.)
  • 1 CupKosher Salt
  • 15Whole Pepper Corns
  • 1/2 teaspoonCumin
  • 1/2 CupBrown Sugar (dark or Light your choice)
  • 1/2 teaspoonOregano
  • 1Chipotle Pepper Chopped
  • 1 teaspoonAdobo Sauce (what the Chipotle Pepper comes in)

Steps

  1. 1

    Combine Water, Salt, Sugar, Adobo Sauce until everything is disolved and mixed together.

  2. 2

    Add everything else.

  3. 3

    I brine all pork for 4 or 5 hours.

  4. 4

    I never brine ribs.
