Ingredients

  1. 4 cupsflour
  2. 1 packetRapid Rise Yeast
  3. 1/2 cupsugar
  4. 1 tspsalt
  5. 1 tbspoil for bowl
  6. 1/2 cupwater
  7. 1 cupmilk
  8. 1/4 cupcanola oil
  9. 1egg beaten (room temp)
  10. 1/2 cupflour for rolling dough
  11. Bread crumbs for rolling

Steps

    Mix dry ingredients in large bowl: flour, yeast, salt and sugar

  2. 2

    Oil a second large bowl.

  3. 3

    In a third bowl, mix water, milk and oil. Heat in microwave for 90 seconds.

    Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients. Slowly add egg. Dough should be gooey.

  5. 5

    Prep warm area by turning on oven on low and then turn off to let it cool off for a few minutes.

    Spread clean surface with the 1/2 cup of flour. Roll gooey dough into a large ball on the flour surface until it's smooth. Place in oiled bowl and cover with a cloth.

    Place bowl of dough in warm area to let rise for 2 hours. Dough will double in size.

    Take dough and flatten into a large rectangle on a floured surface. Fold upward to make a long log of dough. Then cut 20 pieces diagonally.

    Take each piece and roll in bread crumbs. Place rolls spread apart on 2 cookie sheets. Place back in warm area (you may need to re-prep warm area) for another hour.

    Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Bake rolls for 20-25 min or until rolls start to brown on top. Enjoy!
