Choose the ndengu and soak in water for 10minutes and rinse

Boil water in a sufuria and add in the ndegus and cover with a lid and let cook for 30minutes

Prepare the gloceries

On a sufuria add the cooking oil, add onions and garlic let it cook till golden brown then add tomatoes and capsicum let then cook

Add the boiled ndengu and stir to mix add little water for soup

Serve with chapati
