  1. Drizzle of olive oil
  2. pinchsalt
  3. The leaves from 1 head of cauliflower

Steps

    Preheat oven to 400°F.

  2. 2

    Trim the leaves from a head of cauliflower. Trim out any large stems. Clean the leaves and toss them in a bowl.

  3. 3

    Add a drizzle of olive oil and a pinch of salt.

  4. 4

    Lay the leaves out neatly on a parchment-lined baking sheet.

  5. 5

    Bake for about 10 minutes. When they are done, they take on a dark and shiny sheen, almost like they're wet. The leaves may even still be limp, but set the tray on your counter and they should crisp up as they cool.

can I use the large leafs from the plant?
I grew my first fall/winter garden and harvested all the cauliflower and broccoli, and was wondering why we discard the larger leaves?
