Ingredients

  1. 2 kgjalpai/ olive
  2. 1/2 bowlyellow Rai
  3. 1 bowlsaunf/ fennel
  4. 1/2 bowlmethi/ fenugreek
  5. 5-6 tsponion seeds
  6. 2tej patta/ bay leaf
  7. 5-6cloves
  8. 5-6finely chopped green chillies
  9. 4 tspred chilli powder
  10. 3-4 tspturmeric powder
  11. to tastesalt
  12. 1/2 kgmustard oil

Steps

  1. 1

    Wash and dry jalpai,cut it and add salt and haldi soak it for one night.Next day take out jalfai from salt water and dry in sun for one day.

  2. 2

    Take methi,saunf,Rai and roast and grind.Take a wok heat oil add tej pata,cloves add jalpai and all masala and green chilli chopped mix well.Add to the container and keep these container in sunlight for 5-6 days.

  3. 3

    Tasty pickle is ready.Note-In salt jalpai was soaked so add little salt in pickle. Masala's can be increased or decreased according to your taste.
