Steps

Put the toor Dal, green chillies (3_4), ginger paste, fenugreek seeds and tomato in cooker and give 2_3 whistle

Now pour the urad Dal in mixer jar and add green chillies paste, asafoetida in it and grind it make a smooth paste

If water required than add

Make a small vada and deep fry in to oil

Open the cooker and grind the Dal and pour it in bowl

For sambhar : in cooker add oil give tadka of mustard seeds, cumin seeds and curry leaves

Add onions, brinjal and gourd and saute it for a min

Now add Dal in it and add all masalas

Add water and tamarind paste

Lastly add drumsticks and give one whistle on medium flame

Now one side soak the vada in to hot water for 10 min

Squeeze the vada from water and add in to vada..
