Ingredients

3 to 4 servings
  1. 1/4 cupRaisins steeped in Rum
  2. 1/4 cupMuscovado OR Brown Sugar
  3. 1 tablespoonRum
  4. 1 cupWater

Steps

  1. 1

    Place Sugar and Water in a sauce pan, heat over low heat until Sugar dissolves.

  2. 2

    Add Raisins and Rum and mix. *See my 'Rum & Raisins' recipe at http://www.hirokoliston.com/rum-raisins/

    Pour the mixture into a shallow metal cake pan or plastic container. Set aside to cool completely. Place in freezer for 2 hours or until icy.

  4. 4

    Use a fork to break up the mixture into crystals.

  5. 5

    You may wish to enjoy it with Ice-cream, but it is quite nice as it is.
