Ingredients

  1. 1 packetRice puffs/ murmura
  2. 1chopped Onion
  3. 1chopped tomato
  4. 3-4Green chillies
  5. 8-10curry leaves
  6. 2 tbspnPeanuts
  7. 1/2 tspMustard seeds
  8. 1/2 cupRoasted chana dal coarse powder
  9. As neededSalt
  10. To tasteSugar
  11. 1/2 tspTurmeric powder
  12. 1 tspasafoetida (hing)
  13. leavesSome Fresh coriander

Steps

  1. 1

    Take oil in a kadhai add mustard seeds and peanuts.

  2. 2

    Add asafoetida, turmeric powder, green chillies, curry leaves and saute for 2-3 mins.

  3. 3

    Add onions and tomatoes and saute. Add sugar and mix well.

  4. 4

    Soak rice puffs/ murmura in water for 2-3 mins and squeeze out. Add this rice puffs to kadhai and mix well.

  5. 5

    Add salt. Add coarse roasted chana dal powder and cook with lid for 5 mins.

  6. 6

    Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve.
