Ingredients

  • 2 cupsflour
  • 5 tablespoonssugar
  • 1 tablespoonvanilla extract or essence
  • 250 mlmilk
  • 2eggs
  • 1 teaspooncardamom powder
  • 2 tablespooncooking oil
  • 1 teaspoonbaking powder

Steps

    Start by beating the 2 eggs

  2. 2

    Add sugar,vanilla essence,baking powder and cardamom powder and mix till well combined

  3. 3

    Now add the milk then start incoporating your flour into the mixture little by little as you whip.

  4. 4

    Once the flour is well mixed,your batter should not be too runny nor too thick.

  5. 5

    Add the cooking oil and mix it well in the batter

  6. 6

    Let your batter rest for 1 min and start cooking your pancakes. I usually prefer using a non-stick pan for the best results

  7. 7

    Ensure that your pan is hot then pour batter in the middle of the pan, do not try to spread the batter just let it stay still.Once bubbles start appearing on the top its means the bottom is cooked so flip for the other side to cook too.

  8. 8

    NB: Do not cook with oil.The oil is already in the batter.
