Ingredients

10 servings
  1. 1 cupflour
  2. 11/2 tbsppowder sugar
  3. 1 tspbaking powder
  4. 1/2 tspsoda
  5. 4 tbspbutter
  6. 1 tbspOrange zest
  7. 1 tspOrange essence
  8. 1/2 tincondensed milk
  9. 1/2 cupOrange pulp
  10. 3 tbspOrange juice + 1 tbsp sugar- to make the cake moist
  11. 1/2 cupOrange juice
  12. 2 tsppowder sugar
  13. For icing-
  14. 1 cupwhipped cream
  15. 1/2 tspOrange colour
  16. 1/2 cupAlmond slices

Steps

  1. 1

    Seave the flour, soda, baking powder twice. Mix condensed milk and essence with butter and beat it well, then add Orange zest, gradually add flour

    Add Orange juice and pulp to make falling consistency batter. Bake in preheated oven at 170' C for 20 - 25 minutes. Than cool it.

    Divide the cake horizontally. Moist it with Orange and sugar mixture,

    Whip the cream on ice till semi thick,add Orange colour, Orange essence whip again till thick. Spread the whip cream on lower part of the cake, place the top part and cover the whole cake with Orange cream.

    Decorate with cream and almond slices, chill the cake before serving.
